About Berkley

Berkley is an Oakland County city on the Woodward Corridor north of Detroit. Before settlement, the land was mostly dense forest with pockets of swampland, but modern Berkley is an inner-ring suburb known for restaurants, boutiques, clothing stores, and a compact local business district. It has the compact feel of an older Detroit-area suburb: smaller lots, established neighborhoods, local schools, and quick access to Royal Oak, Birmingham, and Ferndale. Berkley is polished without feeling oversized.
