Bethel, CT

Bethel is a Fairfield County town in western Connecticut, near Danbury, with a historic center and a long-settled New England feel. The town was first settled around 1700, and places such as the Greenwood Avenue Historic District and the Rev. John Ely House keep that older story visible. Bethel is residential and commuter-friendly, but it also has local restaurants, shops, schools, and community events that give it more of a town-center life than a purely bedroom suburb.
