Biggers is a quiet, close-knit town in Randolph County, tucked right along the scenic Current River. Its roots go back to 1889 when Benjamin Franklin Bigger bought the land to run a ferry and build a distillery. The arrival of the railroad soon turned the settlement into a thriving timber hub complete with a bank, hotel, and local mills. While things have slowed down since those early boom days, the town has held onto its peaceful charm and deep connection to the water.

Today, life in Biggers revolves around the outdoors, with easy access to fishing, boating, and waterfowl hunting on the river. Students attend schools in the neighboring Corning district, and handy access to US 62 and US 67 makes it easy to commute to larger nearby towns for shopping and work.
