Billings, MO

Billings is a Christian County city in the Springfield metropolitan area, laid out in 1872 around the railroad expansion that brought Frederick H. Billings' name to the map. The 2020 census counted 1,084 residents. Billings R-IV gives the city a public-school center, with elementary and junior/senior high campuses in town and a school calendar that reaches across the community. The school also carries a piece of local sports history: Billings High won the Missouri Class 2A boys basketball state championship in 2012.

City Hall gives the present-day town a compact civic center.
