About Biltmore

Biltmore is an unincorporated Carter County community across the Watauga River from Elizabethton. Tennessee Route 400 runs through its southern edge, while U.S. 19E follows the northeast side toward Bluff City and Elizabethton. Lacy Hollow, Campbell Branch, and Stout Branch all drain south into the Watauga, so the community's map is mostly a set of small waterways feeding one larger river. Biltmore is northeast Tennessee in the space between a county seat, a river, and the roads that follow the valley.
