Blair, WI

Tucked along the Trempealeau River in western Wisconsin, Blair is a small, quiet community with deep roots and a relaxed pace. Settled in the mid-1800s by Norwegian and German families, the town still carries that proud heritage today. Much of daily life revolves around Lake Henry, a 44-acre lake originally created by an old grist mill dam that now gives residents a scenic waterfront right next to downtown.

Outdoor recreation is easy to find, especially along the shoreline at Riverside Memorial Park. The park offers walking paths, fishing piers, a boat launch, ball fields, and the municipal pool. Every September, the community comes together for the Blair Cheese Festival, a lively weekend tradition dating back to 1938 with parades, local food, and Norwegian treats. With Highways 53 and 95 running right through town, traveling across the region is simple, making Blair an easy place to settle into.
