Blue Eye, AR

Sitting right on the Arkansas-Missouri border, Blue Eye is a quiet Ozark town with an unusual quirk: it shares its name with a twin community directly across the state line. Located just south of Table Rock Lake, it’s a peaceful, rural spot with easy access to boating, fishing, and scenic hill country. Most local shops and services are over on the Missouri side, leaving the Arkansas side calm, open, and primarily residential. Local lore says the town got its name back in the 1870s from an early postmaster and his daughter, both remembered for their striking blue eyes.
