About Blytheville
Blytheville is the largest city and one of two county seats in Mississippi County, Arkansas, located about sixty miles north of West Memphis near the Mississippi River. Originally shaped by a rowdy lumber and saloon culture in the late nineteenth century, the city transitioned into a modern industrial center. Today Blytheville is home to Arkansas Northeastern College, and its local economy is heavily driven by Nucor Steel, the area's largest employer.
