Bondurant is a rapidly growing suburban city in Polk County, Iowa, situated northeast of Des Moines along U.S. Route 65. Founded in 1884 and developed around a historic Chicago Great Western Railway station built in 1892, the community of approximately 8,600 offers residents a residential family lifestyle. Public education for local students is administered by the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District.
