Borden, IN

Borden is a quiet Clark County town set among the rolling hills of southern Indiana, roughly a half-hour drive from Louisville. The town went by New Providence until 1994, when it took the name of William W. Borden, a 19th-century local who founded a small college, library, and science museum here. The old institute eventually closed, but its history gave the community a unique background that still sets it apart from neighboring rural towns.
