New Albany, IN

New Albany is an Ohio River city in southern Indiana, directly across from Louisville. Its riverfront location made it a major early transportation and shipbuilding center, and later rail connections tied it to broader Midwestern commerce. Today New Albany is the county seat of Floyd County, with a historic downtown, older neighborhoods, and a growing restaurant and arts scene.
