Boring is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clackamas County, Oregon, situated in the Cascade foothills. Named for Union veteran William Boring and marking the eastern trailhead of the Springwater Corridor rail trail, the community of approximately 1,869 is served by the Oregon Trail School District for public primary and secondary education.
