Bowmansville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Named for early settler Samuel Bowman and home to the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Bowmansville Service Plaza along the Conestoga River headwaters, the community of approximately 2,959 is served by the Eastern Lancaster County School District for public education for students.
