About Bremen

Bremen is a city primarily in Haralson County, Georgia, situated along U.S. Route 78. Originally incorporated in 1883 as Kramer and later renamed to honor the German city of Bremen, the community of approximately 7,488 was historically home to the Creek Confederacy. The city is noted as the home of Sacred Harp singing scholar Hugh McGraw and is served by the Bremen City School District.
