Briaroaks, TX

Briaroaks is a small Johnson County city just northeast of Burleson, with its own municipal line even though the larger North Texas map is right around it. The place sits in northern Johnson County and is served by Burleson Independent School District. Its downtown is the main local hook: a compact center that gives this little city a town-shaped reference point amid the roads around Burleson. Briaroaks is part of the broader Dallas-Fort Worth orbit, but it is not simply a Burleson neighborhood. The city's story is the boundary itself—an incorporated pocket in Johnson County, with a named downtown and a separate place-name on the north side of the county.
