Bristol is a historic waterfront borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, situated along the Delaware River twenty-three miles northeast of Philadelphia. Established in 1681 and incorporated in 1720, the community of approximately 9,900 played a key role in the American Industrial Revolution as the southern terminus of the Delaware Canal.
