About Burdette

Burdette is a small town in Mississippi County, Arkansas, situated along Arkansas Highway 148. The community originated in the early 1900s as a company town established by the Three States Lumber Company. Located about five miles northwest of the Mississippi River, Burdette lies five miles north of Luxora and nine miles south of Blytheville. Today, the town's students are served by the Blytheville School District, including Blytheville High School.
