Cactus Forest, AZ

Cactus Forest is a Pinal County census-designated place roughly 69 miles southeast of Phoenix, a desert community on the southeastern side of the Phoenix region. It is a named rural place instead of an incorporated town, so its shape is carried by the census boundary, local roads, utility lines, and scattered homes. The name fits the Sonoran Desert setting, where cactus, open washes, and long sightlines take the place of a compact main street. Florence Unified School District serves the area.
