California Pines, CA

California Pines is a small Modoc County community at about 4,400 feet, southwest of Alturas in the high country of northeastern California. It is laid out as a residential subdivision across two distinct landscapes: the Lake District around the community's water features and the higher Hill District among pine, cedar, and juniper.
