About Callimont

Tucked high along the Allegheny Front in Somerset County, Callimont was originally planned in the 1970s as a mountain ski community. Today, it serves as a peaceful, heavily wooded retreat surrounded by winding country roads, small streams, and nearby State Game Land 82. It is an ideal spot for anyone seeking privacy and scenic valley views away from town. The area recently merged back into Larimer Township, and local students attend the Meyersdale Area School District.
