Calvary, GA

Calvary is a tiny, peaceful farming community tucked into southwest Georgia right near the Florida border. Home to just over a hundred residents, daily life here centers on quiet country roads, open acreage, and deep agricultural roots. While the area stays sleepy for most of the year, it springs to life every fall when tens of thousands of visitors arrive for the annual Calvary Mule Day festival. The community sits roughly fifteen miles southwest of Cairo and about twenty miles north of Tallahassee, making it a good fit if you want quiet rural seclusion within an easy drive of city amenities.
