Calvert, AL

Calvert is a small rural community along the Tombigbee River in southwest Alabama, sitting right on the border of Mobile and Washington counties. Home to around 250 residents, it offers a quiet, spread-out country setting along Highway 43. The area is largely defined by heavy industry, anchored by the sprawling AM/NS Calvert steel mill that drives the local economy.
