Saraland, AL

Saraland is a Mobile County city and northern suburb of Mobile, now one of the larger communities in the county. The land that became Saraland was once part of a Spanish grant to Don Diego Alvarez, but the modern city is mostly defined by suburban growth, local schools, and its position along the Mobile metro's north side. Saraland borders Prichard, Chickasaw, Satsuma, Creola, and undeveloped parts of Mobile, making it feel connected to the broader industrial and residential landscape around the city.
