Cameron is a friendly village of around 1,900 people surrounded by the scenic farm fields and lake country of northwest Wisconsin. Situated right at the junction of Highways 8 and 53, it started as an early pioneer crossing before shifting slightly north to meet the railroad in the 1880s.
