About Canandaigua

Canandaigua is a city and the county seat of Ontario County, New York, situated at the northern end of Canandaigua Lake, one of the Finger Lakes, twenty-four miles southeast of Rochester. The city of approximately 10,500 is home to the main campus of Finger Lakes Community College and hosts the Ontario County administrative complex in the adjacent Town of Hopewell. Public education is administered by the Canandaigua City School District.
