Candor, NC

Set in the rolling Sandhills of Montgomery County, Candor is a quiet rural community best known as the heart of North Carolina peach country. Community spirit peaks every July during the annual North Carolina Peach Festival, which draws neighbors together for parades down Main Street, live music in Fitzgerald Park, and plenty of fresh peach ice cream. The rest of the year, Candor offers a slow, neighborly environment where people enjoy peaceful country living, generous lot sizes, and convenient access to the outdoor recreation of the Uwharrie National Forest and the golf resorts of neighboring Moore County.
