Carlls Corner, NJ

Carlls Corner is a small census-designated place in Upper Deerfield Township, Cumberland County, where New Jersey 77 and 56 meet. The crossroads is the whole orientation: NJ 77 runs south toward Bridgeton, the county seat, and north toward Mullica Hill; NJ 56 runs east toward Vineland. Cornwell Drive joins the same knot of roads, and the township's traffic planning treats the 77/56/Cornwell intersection as a high-volume point. Around it, the township's land is still largely agricultural, with commercial, industrial, retail, and professional uses gathered along the Route 77 corridor.
