Casar, NC

Casar is a small town in northern Cleveland County, North Carolina, in the township that carries the same name. The settlement dates to the early 1800s, while the town's current charter history reaches back to an incorporation in 1890. That gap between an older rural settlement and a later municipal identity is part of what makes Casar distinctive in the county's story.
