Cascade Locks, OR

Cascade Locks is a small riverfront town in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, situated along the south bank of the Columbia River. Home to around 1,400 residents, it offers quiet, scenic living framed by steep forest ridges and open water views. The town takes its name from the historic nineteenth-century locks built before the Bonneville Dam was constructed downstream. Today, it is widely known for the Bridge of the Gods, a landmark toll bridge connecting Oregon to Washington that also carries Pacific Crest Trail hikers across the river.

Daily life in Cascade Locks combines a relaxed pace with quick access to outdoor recreation and neighboring towns.
