Catawba, WI

Set along U.S. Highway 8 in Price County, Catawba is a small Northwoods community of about 140 residents. The village grew in the late 1800s as Swedish settlers and loggers moved in along the South Fork of the Jump River. Today, it remains a quiet, friendly spot surrounded by thick northern Wisconsin forests.
