Catlett, VA

Catlett is a quiet rural community in Fauquier County, tucked about nine miles southeast of Warrenton along Route 28. With just a few hundred residents, it offers wide-open farmland, historic properties, and a peaceful country pace. The area got its start in the 1850s as a stop along the Orange and Alexandria Railroad, and you can still see that small-town railroad heritage in the old buildings gathered near the tracks.

Today, Catlett appeals to homebuyers looking for acreage, privacy, and an easy connection to Northern Virginia. Local children attend H.M. Pearson Elementary right in the community, while Route 28 provides a direct route north toward Manassas or west toward Warrenton for shopping and dining. It is a scenic, laid-back corner of the county that gives you plenty of room to spread out.
