About Centralia

Centralia is a city spanning Boone and Audrain counties, Missouri, situated northeast of Columbia. Established in 1857 on the North Missouri Railroad and the site of a notorious Civil War execution of Union soldiers in 1864, the community of approximately 4,690 is served by the Centralia R-Six School District for public education locally.
