Centre Island is a quiet, scenic peninsula jutting into the waters of Long Island Sound on Nassau County's North Shore. Home to only around 400 residents across 600 acres, the village is known for its spacious properties, deep waterfront views, and sense of privacy. More than four miles of coastline trace the edges of Oyster Bay Harbor and Cold Spring Harbor, giving many homes direct water access. Families on the peninsula are part of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District, with the mainland easily reached via a single causeway.

The historic Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club sits at the tip of the peninsula, serving as a hub for sailing and seasonal regattas since the late nineteenth century.
