Chelyan, WV

Chelyan sits along the south bank of the Kanawha River in Kanawha County, about fifteen minutes southeast of Charleston. Sandwiched between the water and steep wooded hillsides, it is a small, quiet community originally named after the daughter of an early postmaster. The Chelyan Bridge also connects directly across to Route 60 and shopping in Quincy, making everyday errands simple.
