Cherokee City is a small rural census-designated place in western Benton County, Arkansas. Platted in 1880, the unincorporated community has a population of fewer than eighty residents. It is the location of the historic Coon Creek Bridge, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Public education for local students is provided by the Gentry School District.
