Cherry Valley is a city in northern Cross County, Arkansas, situated at the western edge of the unique geological formation of Crowley's Ridge. Tracing its origins to a nineteenth-century hotel built near a grove of wild cherry trees, the community is home to approximately seven hundred residents. Public education is provided by the Cross County School District, which operates Cross County High School in the city.
