Cibecue, AZ

Cibecue is a Navajo County census-designated place on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation, in the White Mountain Apache Tribe's Cibecue watershed. Cibecue Creek is the geographic key: the community takes its name from the creek that runs through this part of the reservation. The tribe has undertaken watershed analysis and demonstration projects here, giving the waterway a place in both the map and the work of managing the surrounding land.
