About Circleville

Circleville is a city and the county seat of Pickaway County, Ohio, situated along the Scioto River twenty-five miles south of Columbus. Founded in 1810 and named for its unique layout centered around a circular prehistoric Hopewell earthwork, the community of approximately 14,100 hosts the state's largest DuPont manufacturing facility. The city is home to Ohio Christian University and is served by the Circleville City School District.
