Citronelle, AL

Citronelle sits about 35 miles north of Mobile, surrounded by the pine woods of northern Mobile County. With around 4,000 residents, it offers a quiet, small-town pace with plenty of room to spread out. The area first drew visitors in the late 1800s as a health retreat celebrated for its clean air and natural mineral springs. Today, Highway 45 gives commuters a straightforward drive into Mobile for work, shopping, and healthcare while keeping daily life here relaxed and rural.
