About Cleburne

Cleburne is a Johnson County city south of Fort Worth with a history that began as a Civil War army camp known as Camp Henderson. The city now serves as a county seat and regional center for the southern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Local history is visible in the Layland Museum of History and the Cleburne Railroad Museum, both managed by the city.
