Cloquet is a city in Carlton County, Minnesota, situated along the Saint Louis River twenty miles southwest of Duluth. Historically developed around three pioneer sawmills, the industrial community of approximately 12,500 partially lies within the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation, serving as an administrative center. Public education is provided by the Cloquet Public School District and the tribal Fond du Lac Ojibwe School.
