Cohassett Beach is a quiet coastal neighborhood on the Pacific edge of Westport in Grays Harbor County. Named after the coastal town in Massachusetts, it sits along the dunes where residential streets wind toward the ocean. Highway 105 connects the community to the rest of the South Beach area, while downtown Westport is just a quick drive north whenever you need groceries, local seafood, or marina access.

Back in the early 1900s, the area grew as a summer artists' retreat, and you can still spot a handful of those original cottages scattered among newer beach homes. Over the decades, natural sand buildup has gradually pushed the coastline westward, leaving wide, grassy dunes between the older properties and the water. Today, it offers a relaxed, tucked-away setting with easy access to neighborhood trails and open Pacific beaches.
