Columbus, MS

Columbus is a historic city and the county seat of Lowndes County, Mississippi, located along the Tombigbee River on the state's eastern border. First settled where Jackson's Military Road crossed the river, the city of approximately 23,300 forms part of Mississippi's Golden Triangle alongside Starkville and West Point. The community is home to the Mississippi University for Women and features the historic Tennessee Williams Home Museum.
