Compo, CT

Compo is a census-designated place in Westport, in Fairfield County. It extends south to Compo Beach and sits near the Saugatuck River, giving the community a clear shoreline identity within one of Connecticut's most affluent towns. Compo also has historic-district character, but its everyday image is coastal: beach access, older homes, residential lanes, and easy reach of Westport's downtown and train station. It feels more like a named waterfront neighborhood than a separate municipality.
