Conning Towers Nautilus Park is a census-designated place in the town of Groton, New London County, Connecticut, encompassing the area along Route 12 that includes Naval Submarine Base New London. Home to the largest submarine base in the United States, the community of approximately 8,500 is closely tied to the naval submarine operations and support mission centered in the Groton area.
