Copalis Beach, WA

Copalis Beach is a Grays Harbor County census-designated place on Washington’s North Beach, between the mouth of Grays Harbor and the Copalis River. The name comes from a Quinault-language term, and historical accounts connect the Copalis people with the coast between the Copalis River and Grays Harbor. State Route 109 is the regional road, while the ocean, dunes, and river mouth do more of the local orienting than a municipal center.
