Country Life Acres, MO

Country Life Acres is an incorporated village in Missouri River Township, St. Louis County, surrounded by the City of Town and Country. The 2020 census counted 72 residents inside a boundary of about eleven hundredths of a square mile, making the village a tiny gated residential enclave within the larger St. Louis suburban landscape. There is no broad commercial strip or civic downtown; the village's identity lives in its private roads, homes, and carefully defined municipal line.

Parkway School District serves Country Life Acres, while Town and Country and St. Louis County provide the larger network of roads, services, shopping, and employment around it. The neighboring city grew from the farming community once called Altheim, with old roads and former farm properties still visible in the broader landscape. Country Life Acres is a Missouri village of unusually small scale, where a separate local government and a surrounding suburban city meet at the edge of the Parkway school area and the wider west-county road network.
