Crestview, KY

Crestview is a small city in Campbell County, less than 10 miles from downtown Cincinnati. It began in 1948 as Vet Village, a tract settled by World War II veterans and their families. In 1950, residents held a naming contest and chose Crestview, a name the city has kept. Its location places a compact, self-governing community inside Northern Kentucky's Cincinnati urban network, with residential blocks built out on what had been farmland.

Local life is organized through a city commission, a monthly meeting at Circle Drive, and a handful of parks and community spaces. The city calendar includes a Memorial Day parade, Easter egg hunt, block party, and Christmas light judging, while a veterans memorial keeps the founding story visible. Utilities, water, sanitation, electric, internet, and trash service connect residents to regional providers, and the city handles taxes, zoning, ordinances, and permits locally. Crestview's scale is small, yet its own commission, events, and public spaces give it a distinct municipal routine close to Cincinnati.
