About Crockett

Crockett is a historic waterfront census-designated place in Contra Costa County, California, situated twenty-eight miles northeast of San Francisco along the Carquinez Strait. Named after California Supreme Court Justice Joseph B. Crockett, the community of approximately 3,400 is famous as the corporate headquarters of C&H Sugar, operating a massive refinery since 1906. The town is served by the John Swett Unified School District.
