Crofton, NE

Crofton is a Knox County city in northeastern Nebraska, with 756 residents in the 2020 census. It was platted in 1892 and named for Crofton Court, an English estate associated with a railroad promoter. The city sits above the Missouri River valley, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Lewis and Clark Lake and the Missouri National Recreational River close enough to shape the local map.
